Akshaya Institute of Technology (AIT), established in 2003 under Akshaya Education Trust by founder Dr. K.S. Shivakumar (a renowned Paediatrician), is a private engineering college located at Lingapura, Obalapura Post, Tumkur-Koratagere Road, Tumakuru, Karnataka 572106. The 25-acre campus is affiliated to VTU Belagavi, approved by AICTE, recognised by UGC and DTE Karnataka, and ISO 9001:2015 certified. NAAC accredited with A+ Grade. AIT serves students primarily from Tumkur and surrounding rural areas of central Karnataka.
