About Anuvartik Mirji Bharatesh Institute of Technology
Anuvartik Mirji Bharatesh Institute of Technology (commonly Bharatesh Institute of Technology or BIT), launched by Bharatesh Education Trust (BET), Belagavi, held its inaugural B.E. admissions in the academic year 2025-26, making it one of Karnataka’s newest engineering institutions. BET was established in 1962 — over 60 years of educational heritage. Located at Bharatesh Chandragiri Campus, Basavana Kudachi Extension, Shindoli Road, Belagavi 591124, Karnataka — on the Belagavi-Khanapur approach road, with good connectivity to Belagavi Railway Station, Sambra Airport, and city centre.
The campus is a purpose-built, 30,000 sq ft green-architecture academic block. BIT is affiliated to VTU Belagavi and approved by AICTE. The institution has signed a MoU with the Belagavi Startup Association (BSA) to foster innovation and bridge industry-student gaps. KCET listed as E014 in COMEDK/KEA portal.
