About Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology
Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), established in 1979, is a private engineering college located at P.B. No. 325, Shamanur Road, Davangere 577004, Karnataka. Affiliated to VTU Belagavi and approved by AICTE, BIET is accredited by NAAC with A Grade and NBA for its UG programmes. NIRF 2023 placed BIET in India’s top 200 engineering colleges. The institute is one of the oldest and most respected private engineering colleges in Central Karnataka, operating for over 45 years.
BIET offers B.E. in 11 specializations, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and PhD — 26 courses total. The 63-acre green campus has library with 1,00,000+ books, 200+ journals, IEEE and NPTEL digital access.
