About Kalpataru Institute of Technology
Kalpataru Institute of Technology (KIT) was established in 1986 with a vision to provide technical education to the rural youth of Karnataka. Located at B.H. Road, Hassan Circle, Tiptur 572202, Tumkur District, Karnataka, it is managed by Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe. KIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
KIT is accredited by NAAC with Grade B+ (2.7 scale). The institute offers B.E. in multiple engineering disciplines and MBA, serving rural students across Tumkur district.
