Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir MVIT) is one of Karnataka’s most reputed private engineering colleges, established in 1986 by the Sri Krishnadevaraya Educational Trust. Sir MVIT offers 13 B.E. programmes, 4 M.Tech specialisations, MBA (120 seats), MCA (120 seats), and Ph.D. B.E. fees vary significantly by quota — KCET quota is the most affordable at Rs. 71,000–99,800 per year. COMEDK quota is Rs. 2,43,870–3,00,000 per year. Management quota can go up to Rs. 10,00,000 per year for CSE.

Admission Process

Placement 2025
Sir MVIT has a strong Training and Placement Cell that trains students in soft skills, aptitude, and company-specific preparation.
