About Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering
Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), established in 1963, is a constituent college of JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru. The dream child of His Holiness Jagadguru Lingaikya Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamigalavaru, the 23rd pontiff of Sri Suttur Math, SJCE comes under JSS Mahavidyapeetha. It was the first college in Karnataka to introduce Electronics and Communication branch in 1968.
SJCE is approved by AICTE New Delhi, accredited by NBA, recognized under TEQIP scheme, and granted ₹20 crores by the World Bank. The 117-acre campus is located adjacent to Manasa Gangothri (University of Mysore) and All India Institute of Speech and Hearing. The college maintains its own industry-oriented syllabus and is recognized by countries that have signed the Washington Accord.
