About MNNIT Allahabad
Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad), established in 1961 as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College, is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Located at Barrister Mullah Colony, Teliarganj, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh — in the historically significant city at the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. Approved by AICTE and UGC. Main building inaugurated by PM Lal Bahadur Shastri on 18 April 1965.
