About NIT Goa
National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa), established in 2010 under the NIT Act, is an Institute of National Importance functioning under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Currently operating from its campus at Farmagudi, Ponda, Goa, NIT Goa is transitioning to its permanent 300-acre campus at Cuncolim, South Goa. Approved by AICTE and UGC. NIT Goa is the only NIT in Goa and one of the most competitively placed NITs given its Goa location advantage.
