Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering, established in 1958 by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education (HKE) Society, is the flagship institution of the society and a beacon of engineering excellence in the Hyderabad Karnataka region. Founded by visionary educationist Late Shri Mahadevappa Rampure, P.D.A. College pioneered technical education in the region, becoming the first college in Karnataka to introduce Electronics & Communication Engineering in 1967 and Ceramic & Cement Technology in 1982.
