About Malnad College of Engineering
Malnad College of Engineering (MCE), established in 1960, is a premier government-aided autonomous engineering college located in Hassan, Karnataka. Established as a collaborative venture between the Government of India, Government of Karnataka, and Malnad Technical Education Society, MCE is affiliated to VTU Belagavi, approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC and NBA. Autonomous since 2007 and a winner of the ISTE Award for Best Engineering College in India (2007), MCE offers 800+ seats annually across 15 specializations in B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD programmes.
MCE is ranked #101 in the NIRF Overall band (2023), #13 by IIRF (2023), and #101-150 in NIRF Engineering band (2024). Collegedunia: #498 Engineering.
