K.L.S. Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT) was established in 1979 by Karnataka Law Society (KLS) and is located at Udyambag, Belagavi 590008, Karnataka. An autonomous institution affiliated to VTU Belagavi, KLS GIT is approved by AICTE, UGC, and CoA, and accredited by NAAC A+ (first and second cycles) and NBA (accredited in 2004, 2008, 2015, 2021, and 2023). It was awarded Excellent Technical Education Institute in Karnataka (2014) and ARIIA 2021 ‘Promising’ band.
